As I don't want to waste my money for just 10 cars, most probably I'll rent this and download those cars at the price they should really be worth.
Although Forza3 as a whole is an a-ok good game this is just an absolute crap marketing idea.
They clearly want to have their last 15mins of fame ( which has clearly backfired on them - would be good but embarrassing at the same time if they do a backflip on this )
I think they are starting to wet their pants already at the thought of next month's release of GranTurismo 5.
Queen's Blade
I honestly believe GT5 is a totally different game compared to all past GranTurismo games.
It's an all new script with a lot of progressive tech behind it that will be carried and improved over the next generation of the franchise.
Same here Pledius, am going to lose ( and gain ) some of my life over this game.. but no regrets, definitely going to enjoy every minute playing this on release day.
Astonishing drift footage!, especially like the Merc and Corvette.
Sure am going to get me one of those.
I really really do hope they would have DLC so future concepts, race and production vehicles get to be played by car-loving gamers around the globe.
Maybe Sony could do a deal with the auto manufacturers involved to set-up a combined funding for those future cars that would be included for DLC to put-out a sort of low cost mini-adverts ( would be good and advantageous for both Sony/PS3 and the automakers I think.. )
Body panel damage is very good considering their compromise deal with the automakers that those panels don't break-off from their precious cars.. do hope in the future no deals would ever be done to further make damage believable.
They do need to work further for making glass breakage/cracks/splinters look more convincing ( ***basic rule - glass does not ***mold/mould with body panel when they are damaged ).
Also glass from headlight, tail lamps and turn signals ar...
With damage I think they need to do more research with different glass cracks/breakage.. headlights and tail lamps easily break and splinters ( and do not get *deformed like shown on a few posted videos at top ).
Surrounding glass area - front wind screen, side windows and rear glass are relatively tougher so it should just get cracks and only breaks depending on level of damage done.
Glass damage needs more work, although am impressed with various damage done to the ...
Ok video.. wish they posted a complete footage of how the Ferrari came to it's damaged conclusion.
Ridged potato chips anyone?, that's what the damaged front looks like.
Would be better if someone could post more HD-video.. please.
If your seriously into gaming - No.
If you just want to brag it to friends - Yes.
A very bright light is going to shine soon enough for 3D that won't need any wearable glasses which I think will attract more into this tech.
It's only on GT5 that we won't ever see any of the 458 Italia being recalled for serious fire issues..
.. probably one of the best looking Ferraris since the 308/355.
He drives like his fellow countryman Vettel.. Hah ha ha..
Besides that damage and tire punctures looks awesomely convincing.
Video looks nice but I doubt Sony will use it as one of their official adverts.
For applying damage first time ever in the series of GranTurismo with a good deal of research and compromise with auto manufacturers looks very convincing.
Roughly 2 more months to go.. think the crowd would have gone ballistic if they brought in a LeMans LMP1 race car like the Peugeot 908HDi or Audi R15TDI.
Free GT5 for everyone?!
Definitely but it wouldn't be wise to order the game from a different country ( just to brag about it ) when it's only a day or two that's the difference.
lol bck.
What difference a day makes for GT5 release.. doesn't really matter.
Do hope they release demo like the Oregon ( youtube post ), badly need quick-fix now.
I certainly felt a sensation dampness all over seeing the awesomeness of that rain effects.. simply mind-blowingly real.
